Tips & suggestions: Yala National Park undergoes temporary closures for conservation efforts annually, typically between September and October. The specific closure dates are determined by the Sri Lankan government, with announcements made 1-2 months in advance, varying each year. As Yala consists of multiple sections, in the event of one section being closed for conservation, we will seamlessly redirect the itinerary to explore one of the open sections, ensuring a continued and fulfilling wildlife experience for our guests.
